About the role 

You will work alongside the German Sales team and will be accountable for executing business growth plans primarily obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales.

What you’ll be doing

You will be expected to gain new business whilst assisting the company in building strong relationships with customers and the positioning of the company as a trusted business partner.  

This role will involve;

  • Contacting potential clients to establish relationships and arrange meetings
  • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Finding and developing new markets to improve sales
  • Working closely with the account manager function to define the overall proposition
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Engaging with key stakeholders across the business
  • Working closely with the Marketing department to improve the effectiveness of both, on and offline marketing to maximise sales opportunities
  • Working closely with the professional services team to ensure the smooth delivery of solutions projects

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record in a similar role.  In particular we are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Fluent in German
  • Strong sales acumen with focus on the customer experience / customer service sector
  • Experience of performing sales planning and pipeline management
  • Experience in a field based new business development role
  • Negotiate engagement pricing and experience of winning long-term multi-year contractual agreements
  • Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and experience of value-based selling and contracting to large enterprises
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at both, C-level and functional levels
  • Confident presentation skills with experience of presenting to C-Level audiences 
  • Experience of complex sales process, involving multiple stakeholders and prospects
  • The highest work standards and structured methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task within tight timeframes, and rapidly amend plans and tactics in response to changes in priority or situation
  • Detailed planning and control skills
  • Experience using internal resources and business partners to provide solutions to customers’ challenges
  • Experience of selling technology products/services
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Solid influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in social selling (LinkedIn etc…)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results driven and target focussed
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally SalesForce, including experience of all aspects of the sales cycle and workflow generation

It would be great if you also had:

  • Previous experience in working with the technology/software industry
